The Avery Dam station is a 260 kilowatt hydroelectric generating facility located on the Winnipesaukee River in the City of Laconia, New Hampshire. The facility was constructed in 1985 at an existing site that was used for power generation and consists of a dam, intake structure, powerhouse and tailrace. The generating equipment includes two Flygt submersible turbine/generators.

The NHPUC issued a rate order on June 20, 1985. The rate order requires PSNH to purchase all output from the facility at specified rates. The amount payable is based on an On-peak and Off-peak energy payment and a capacity payment. The term of the rate order is for a period of 29 years commencing September 1, 1986 and expires in September 2015.
