| The Burt Dam Facility is a 600 kilowatt hydroelectric
generating facility located on the Eighteen Mile Creek in the Town
of Newfane, New York. The facility consists of an existing dam with
an integrated intake structure, powerhouse and tailrace and the
facility is designed to operate as a run-of-the-river facility.
The facility was reconstructed in 1987 from an old hydroelectric
generating facility at the site of an existing dam.
A power purchase agreement was executed with Niagara Mohawk on
November 25, 1986, which expires on December 31, 2000. The agreement
commenced on November 25, 1986 and continues for approximately 14
years until December 31, 2000.
